Groundbreakers – Living Stones

Kevin has produced a Living Stones poster & cards suitable for the Groundbreakers holiday club teaching on Peter, the bold apostle, who became a key leader in the early Church. Please contact Kevin for details of purchase for the posters and cards. The teaching highlights the importance of the Living Stones Church, the true Church that Jesus founded with the original disciples, 2000 years ago. The Church is now represented in every country in the world, even where it is dangerous to meet or forbidden to meet. The Church buildings can be destroyed the true living stones, can never be destroyed. When Saul attacked the early Church, he encountered the living Christ on route to Damascus and was blinded for 3 days, until he was prayed for by Ananias, a disciple, whom the Lord directed to where Saul was staying. When he prayed for Saul, scales fell from his eyes & he could see for the first time in 3 days. He was immediately baptised and from then on became a key, groundbreaking apostle, planting new Churches all over Europe. His name was changed to Paul & he wrote many of the New Testament letters in the Bible like Ephesians, Galatians and other books like Romans & Thessalonians. Paul was groundbreaking with the gospel where no man had gone before.

Peter writes about the early Church in 1 Peter & is used in groundbreaking ways by taking the gospel to the Roman community at Cornelius’s house. Peter, the fisherman, became a bold speaker for the early Church, it was Peter that addressed the crowd in Jerusalem at 9 o’clock in the morning, after the Holy Spirit had some upon the 120 believers. As a result, the book of Acts records that 3000 people believed that momentous day, & so began the empowering of the Church into the world with the gospel of Good News. Peter was groundbreaking in speaking about Jesus Christ on the day of Pentecost resulting in significant growth of the early Church. He was also groundbreaking in sharing the Good News of Jesus to the Roman community at the home of the humble & prayerful, Cornelius.
