The Art Studio is a creative hub to encourage artistic expression. Suitable for children & adults from 5-80 plus years. You can come for one or more hours and even bring a packed lunch with you. I supply drinks, most materials and guidance and encouragement during your session. Children normally come on a Monday or Tuesday evening.
You can come and do your own picture or ask me to give you suggested themes to work on. Themes are from real life like animals, faces, objects, film, buildings, waterscapes, landscapes, etc. Students are friendly all have a common interest in art. The art community is an encouraging one, we all have ‘L’ plates on and are constantly learning new things, new techniques, new ways of expressing new ideas. Why don’t you come and experience. There is a gallery to view, the kettle is always on and you will enjoy the creative space.
You can do a versatile course if you prefer over or come week by week. You don’t have to book in, most people develop a pattern of attendance but it is always flexible. The Art Studio has capacity for new students to attend.
Parking is nearby to the side or front of the centre. I am happy to help anyone with equipment to the car following a lesson. The Studio offers space and resources with the expertise on hand to guide you in your creative endeavours. The pandemic has meant some adjustment to my working practice, days now start from 11am to 9pm, Monday to Thursday. Remote lessons happen on some days with students attending from various parts of the country & other nations. Students can still attend their classes in The Art Studio. Please ask if you have questions or are interested in attending a remote class nationally or internationally.
