ARTIST’S GALLERY SHOW
Artists Gallery Show [every 12 to 18 months]
Featuring work produced by artists using The Art Studio
The first Gallery Show exhibited from Monday, April 6th to Friday, April 17th, 2015 & was very successful in promoting the new Art Studio. The exhibition featured 37 local artists who are using The Art Studio from 9-75 years of age. Admission was adults £1, children 50p with exhibiting artists free, refreshments were offered to people viewing. The exhibition drew 60 people to view & impressed many of the artists family & friends. When visiting people could see & talk with some of the artists at work. 125 pieces of work were displayed in a variety of media from watercolours to oils, acrylics to pencil, pen and watercolour pencil artworks.
Artists involved in The Art Studio will be invited to exhibit in the next Gallery Show.
Artists at work during the day can be viewed working on pieces. If you are interested in drawing or painting classes then please discuss the possibilities with Kevin.
