We are often led to pray for the widow and the orphans, those suffering in war ravaged nations like Ukraine, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan and elsewhere as appropriate. We also pray for national situations, like the strains in the NHS and ambulance service, for law and order, for MP’s in their constituencies and sound decision making in serving the people they represent.
We also lift those in political power up in prayer and pray for nations and governments as appropriate. We also pray for the King and the Prime Minister in their high calling and influence on many.
We pray for those affected in times of disaster or suffering due to national or international incidents. We try to stay informed as a group so we can be effective and relevant in our intercessions.
Prayershakers draws together a small group of people to pray for international matters, national concerns & local matters. We also pray for the sick and offer prayers for those who have asked us to pray for them. We believe praying together makes a big difference in our needy world as we bring our petitions to Almighty God who hears and acts upon them. [I John 5]
Prayershakers is suitable for those who have a heart to pray for the nation and situations of concern in the world as well as the local area. There is a short teaching input on prayer & some Scripture is read to the group, followed by a briefing on some situations in the world. We then have spontaneous prayer for those concerns that have been shared. Personal areas for prayer are shared during the latter part of the meeting.
We pray for those we know who are sick & & those who have requested prayer.

We also pray for the nation regarding revival, the mighty outpouring of God’s Spirit that we believe is to come. This revival will be a sovereign move of God that will move through the UK leading to many people coming into the Kingdom of God, repentance of sin, a holy awesome move of God’s Spirit that will cleanse lives and lead to lifestyle transformation.
